| Brian J. Callaghan was raised
between Kilkee, County Clare in the West of Ireland, and Plainview, on
Long Island, in New York. He also attended both Trinity College in
Dublin, Ireland, and Saint Joseph's College in Patchogue, New York.
Upon graduation from university in 1996, Brian moved to Prague in the
Czech Republic. Though he would stay only two years, the city itself
had dug her claws in and Brian left swearing his return. In 1998, back
in New York, he took a job in book publishing for Tom Doherty
Associates, Tor/Forge. He would work as an editor until 2004, when,
driven mad by the siren's song that was Prague, he returned to the
city, settling permanently in Prague VII with his wife Dana and his two
children, Liam Patrick and Darina Beatrice. Since 2004 Brian has worked
as an editor, a freelance journalist, a voiceover actor, a caterer and
